Day 38 -- Last Midterms + (G)I-DLE
This morning I took my last three midterms -- the writing, reading, and vocabulary/grammar exams. They went fine, and afterwards I was talking to my teacher and she said I have been doing well on my exams so far (and that I did not fail the listening exam like I thought I did).
I was completely exhausted after having to concentrate so hard for three hours on tests, and treated myself to a delicious lunch afterwards. There is a cafe called Waffle It Up near my dorm that I haven't been to yet and have always wanted to try, so I ate there and had two mini waffles, some fruit, and some pistachio gelato.
After lunch, I took the subway to Gangnam. I went to a branch of the Kyobo Bookstore and the Kakao Friends flagship store first, and then walked around the area a bit more. The area was full of unique architecture that was very fun to see!
I then went to the Line Friends flagship store, which was my main reason for going to Gangnam. One of my favorite K-pop groups, (G)I-DLE, just released an album a few days ago, and had a pop-up store open at Line Friends. I have always wanted to go to a K-pop pop-up, and it was really fun! The whole store was decorated to match their album, and alongside all of the group's merchandise for sale, there were cutouts of all of the members stationed in a set of their latest music video, as well as a showcase of the actual items of clothing they wore for the video.
After the pop-up, I went to a photobooth studio where you could pose with pictures of the (G)I-DLE members. I posed with my favorite member of the band (who is also one of my favorite celebrities of all time), Soyeon!
I took the subway back to Ewha and was extremely tired so I got some triangle gimbap and grapes to eat in my dorm for dinner. I talked to Agomoni briefly and watched some TV before going to bed.
